Terms of service

By placing an order with Killer Transfers, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all products and services, including but not limited to DTF printing, screen printing, custom merchandise, and graphic design services.

Artwork & Design Approval

Killer Transfers works with both customer-supplied artwork and artwork created by our in-house graphic designer.

Regardless of who creates the artwork, final responsibility begins at customer approval.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully.
  • Approval confirms acceptance of spelling, layout, sizing, placement, colors, and overall appearance.
  • Once artwork is approved and production begins, the order is final.

Reprints due to approved artwork errors are the customer’s responsibility.

Image Quality & File Disclaimer

Killer Transfers is not responsible for print quality issues caused by:

  • Low-resolution or pixelated images
  • Screenshots, web images, or compressed files
  • Improper file setup or rasterized text
  • Artwork enlarged beyond its original resolution
  • Files not designed for print output

Final print quality will reflect the quality of the approved artwork.

Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers submitting their own artwork confirm that files are:

  • Print-ready
  • Properly sized
  • Free of errors
  • Legally permitted for reproduction

Killer Transfers does not proofread, redesign, or correct customer-supplied artwork unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Killer Transfers–Designed Artwork

When artwork is created by Killer Transfers:

  • Designs are produced based on customer instructions and reference materials.
  • Proofs are provided for review and approval.
  • Approval constitutes acceptance of the final design.

After full payment is received, the customer will receive a copy of the final artwork created by Killer Transfers.
Artwork files will not be released prior to payment.

Copyright, Trademark & Print Rights

By submitting artwork or reference materials, the customer certifies that they:

  • Own the artwork OR
  • Have full legal rights, licenses, or permission to reproduce the content

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Killer Transfers from any claims, damages, losses, or legal action arising from copyright, trademark, or intellectual property violations.

Killer Transfers reserves the right to refuse any artwork that appears to violate intellectual property laws.

Production & Payment

  • Production begins only after full payment is received.
  • Turnaround times begin after payment AND artwork approval.
  • Rush fees may apply to short-notice or expedited orders.
  • Rush orders are not guaranteed and must be confirmed by staff.

Pick-Up Policy

Regular Pick-Up

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Pickup occurs at the designated shop location.

After-Hours Pick-Up

  • Must be communicated and approved in advance.
  • Orders placed outside after hours are left at the customer’s risk.
  • Killer Transfers is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items once an order is placed outside for after-hours pickup.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

No refunds or returns on custom printed items.

Exchanges are permitted within 14 days of delivery only for shop error, including:

  • Incorrect item produced
  • Incorrect print placement
  • Production defects caused by Killer Transfers

All claims must be reported within 14 days of receipt with photo documentation.
Claims submitted after 14 days will not be accepted.

Color Matching & Pantone Disclaimer

  • Exact color matching is not guaranteed.
  • Pantone color matching is only guaranteed if explicitly requested and approved in writing.
  • Color variations may occur due to monitor calibration, ink behavior, garment materials, and print method limitations.

Minor color variation is normal and not considered a defect.

Garment & Supplier Disclaimer

Killer Transfers is not responsible for:

  • Manufacturer defects in blank garments
  • Dye lot variations
  • Shrinkage or wear after washing
  • Slight inconsistencies between garment batches

Garments are sourced from third-party suppliers and are subject to their manufacturing tolerances.

Rush Order Disclaimer

Rush orders may:

  • Receive limited or no additional proof revisions
  • Have reduced flexibility for changes
  • Require immediate approval to meet deadlines

Once approved, rush orders are final.

Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be changed or canceled once production has begun.
  • Changes requested after approval may result in additional fees and turnaround delays.

Abandoned Orders

Orders not picked up or claimed within 30 days of completion may be considered abandoned.

Killer Transfers reserves the right to dispose of abandoned items without refund.

Force Majeure

Killer Transfers is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Supplier delays
  • Equipment failure
  • Power outages
  • Weather events
  • Shipping carrier disruptions
  • Acts of God

Limitation of Liability

Killer Transfers is not responsible for:

  • Subjective dissatisfaction once artwork is approved
  • Customer errors after approval
  • Delays caused by late approvals, incomplete files, or non-payment
  • Loss or damage after after-hours pickup

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected portion of the order.

Acceptance of Terms

Placing an order, approving artwork, submitting payment, or accepting delivery constitutes full acceptance of these Terms of Service.
